MAMASC FUTURITY (Revision) Selects will be chosen and then move to the Best In Futurity Ring!

Futurity Divisions are as follows:
Division I: 3-6 Month Old Puppies
Division II: 6-9 Month Old Puppies
Division III: 9-12 Month Old Puppies
Division IV: 12-15 Month Old Puppies

Puppy must be registered with MASCA or NAMASCUSA Registries or must be eligible and applied for registration with NAMASCUSA or MASCA. Dog/bitch 6 months or older must have registration papers available by futurity time.
3.
In the event that an entry does not have their registration papers when entering the Futurity, a copy of the sire/dam registration papers must accompany futurity entry.
4.
All fees payable per chart below. No exceptions. No late entries.
5.
All payments may be made at anytime, however they must be paid in full by individual due dates.
6.
Failure to pay fees or ISF will scratch entry from futurity. No reimbursement of fees already paid will be allowed.
7.
All entrants must be entered in the NAMASCUSA National Specialty on Sunday, October 10, 2010 in their appropriate age class.
8.
In no case may PROFESSIONAL HANDLERS show a dog/bitch in the competition unless they are the breeder/owner of the dog/bitch.
9.
Judging to be done by one judge and recorded on the official score sheet for each entry. Judging to be scored according to the breed standard.
10.
The Show secretary will record all judges cards to an excel spreadsheet immediately following individual judging. The Selects will be determined by the points awarded by the judge.
11.
There will be no placements in classes, only selections (Selects) that will advance to the final judging.
12.
The number of Selects shall be determined by the number of entries per Division.
13.
Example:
1 to 4 dogs/bitches in division – 1 Select
5 to 8 dogs/bitches in division – 2 Selects
9 to 12 dogs/bitches in division – 3 Selects, etc.
14.
20% of entry fees per division will go to MAMASC for administrative costs.
15.
Balance of remaining entry fee for each division will be divided equally among the selects that are chosen from each division.
16.
Each Select shall receive the same payout.
17.
The $25 Nomination Fee will go to towards the “Best of Futurity” and “Reserve Best of Futurity payout.
18.
Best of Futurity shall receive 60%, Reserve Best of Futurity receives 40%.

TOP PRODUCING SIRE/ TOP PRODUCING DAM
1.
Entry in the top producing Sire and dam are included with entry in the Futurity. Awards will be given to “Top Producing Sire” & “Top Producing Dam”.

The award(s) shall be given to the recorded owner of the sire or dam.
3.
Selection of the top producing sire/dam shall be calculated as such:

Only 1st through 8th placements in a division shall be used to award points toward top sire and dam.
a.
1st place per division shall receive 8pts.
b.
2nd place per division shall receive 7pts.
c.
3rd place per division shall receive 6 pts.
d.
4th place per division shall receive 5 pts.
e.
5th place per division shall receive 4 pts.
f.
6th place per division shall receive 3pts
g.
7th place per division shall receive 2pts.
h.
8th place per division shall receive 1 pt.
5.
The highest total number of points calculated for the nominated sire’s offspring shall be the winner of the “Top Producing Sire”.
6.
The highest total number of points calculated for the nominated dam’s offspring shall be the winner of the “Top Producing Dam”.
