Ultimate Aussie Olympiad Award – 10
Herding, Rally, Agility, Disc Dog

1.The Ultimate Aussie Olympiad Award is offered to recognize the dog which best performs in an extreme range of various activities. In addition to identifying this dog, the Aussie Olympic competition has many goals:
2.Education – offer seminars for varied activities.
3.Fun – several days will be spent learning, and interacting with your dog, and other Aussie enthusiasts
4.Encouragement – the seminars and programs in conjunction with the competition is designed to introduce Aussie owners to dog sports, education about Aussie genetics, breeding and health issues, and structure. By introducing these activities, hopefully, participants will continue to participate.
5.Competition – a place for Aussies (of all sizes and registries, or rescue) to come together to show off their abilities.
6.Success – In the process of the Aussie Olympics placements can be earned in many areas of competition.
7.Breeder Information – This is an excellent way for breeders to evaluate their dog’s temperament, ability to deal with new situations and instinct, etc.

                   ULTIMATE AUSSIE OLYMPIAD RULES
Any Aussie, regardless of size or registry is eligible. Rescue Aussies are welcome as well as Aussies without registration papers. Aussies without registration papers must be thought to be 100% Aussie, and have a reasonable appearance of an Aussie.

To earn the Ultimate Aussie Olympiad Award, each entry must earn a score from at least 3 of the events offered.
The top three placements will be awarded Gold/Silver/Bronze medallions and certificates.
Ribbons or awards shall be given for 1st through 25th. They will also have the title Aussie Olympiad.
All entrants who successfully earned scores in 3 out of 4 of the events offered that place beyond the 25th place shall be presented with a qualifying certificate of Aussie Olympiad at the closing ceremony.
Entrants that did not earn qualifying scores in 3 out of the 4 events shall be presented with a participant certificate at the Nationals Closing Ceremony.
In case of a tie for placements, the highest Herding scores will be considered, followed by the highest agility scores, then disk dog and then Rally. If the tie still remains, an appropriate run-off will be conducted. NAMASCUSA Board members have the authority to set run-off rules when needed.
Computation of all scores for awarding the Ultimate Aussie Olympiad Award will be tabulated by one identified member chosen by the NAMASCUSA Board, prior to the Nationals event. The Host Club may request assistance in the tabulation and auditing of the Ultimate Aussie Olympiad scores from the NAMASCUSA Board of Directors.
The Host Club will provide a location where all scores will be posted as soon as practicable after each eligible competition is completed. It is the owner/handler's responsibility to check the scores as posted, and report to the Ultimate Aussie Olympiad chairperson any discrepancy no later than one hour prior to the time scheduled for awarding Ultimate Aussie Olympiad.
