Well join the fun and get behind that team by sponsoring them in a Calcutta!
Anyone can bid on the team they think will win MVA .
It will be run similar to an auction-
Starting bid is $25, and you can even purchase yourself!
High bidder gets the team!
Bids are updated thru out the day.
Bidding closes for pre entered teams on OCT 4TH
If your team wins then you get 50% of all monies bid on all teams.
So if we have 10 entries and say each team gets a sponsor at $50 then the 50% pot would be $250 dollars to the sponsor. We will also payout $25 (starting bid amt) to the MVA team that gets the highest score in each performance event : Herding, Agility , Rally and disc dog.
Some teams may go at a higher bid while others might bring the $25 starting bid.
But it would be fun to get everyone involved with supporting the MVA participants!
This is done quite often at some of the sheepdog trials and folks enjoy cheering on the team they have sponsored! Some folks call it a Calcutta, I just call it fun!
Late entries will be announced the morning of Nationals and can be bought before the first performance event runs!
